Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a vibrant primary school in Leyton, Waltham Forest. The successful candidate will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored learning activities to help the pupil achieve their potential.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and promoting an inclusive classroom environment.
• Implement behaviour strategies to keep the pupil engaged and on task.
• Track progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO.

Requirements:
• Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications).
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
