Youth Mental Health Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in High Wycombe. The successful candidate will have relevant experience working with young people with mental health challenges and a passion for education and advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Support students in a high school setting, promoting their emotional well-being and academic progress
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for students
Requirements:
- Level 2 or higher qualification in Childcare, Education, or a related field
- At least 1 year's experience working with young people with mental health challenges
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs
