About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Waythrough. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to help individuals achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work closely with GP surgeries, local councils, charities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support services.
- Enter accurate case notes onto our IT system, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
- Participate in learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Caring, consistent, and flexible approach to supporting individuals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and connect with people at all levels.
- Understanding of drug and alcohol issues, county lines, and antisocial behavior.
- Access to a vehicle for business purposes and willingness to travel in and around the Suffolk area.
