About the Role

Nacro is seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our Essex NEST team in Harlow. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing direct housing-related support services to young people aged 16-21 who are at risk of homelessness.

Our team is dedicated to providing a trauma-informed approach to support, focusing on the 'right help at the right time.' We aim to empower our service users to achieve successful move-on outcomes and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver effective support and safety plans with service users, referring to specialist agencies as needed.
  • Maximize rent collection and ensure successful housing and welfare benefit claims are submitted and maintained.
  • Report routine property maintenance and damage to maintenance staff.
  • Hold a DBS check and possess a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
