About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Custody Nurse to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Custody Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals detained by the police or other agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments and provide care to individuals in custody
- Provide healthcare interventions to manage minor illnesses or injuries and refer onwards for more serious conditions
- Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police care and collect DNA evidence as required
- Support the clinical governance agenda of the organisation
- Administer medications through PGDs and PTPs
Requirements
- 2 years' minimum experience as a nurse
- Confident and able to make quick decisions
- Autonomous and able to manage own workload
