Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for large-scale events and banquets, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, managing and training kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume catering or banqueting environment, with a strong background in menu planning and kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a creative flair, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
