Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Reed Hospitality & Leisure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of menus, as well as overseeing the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Oversee the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Implement and maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume catering environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
