Job Title: Head of Commercial Property Department

Location: Midlands (Multiple Office Locations Available)

A leading law firm in the Midlands is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to head their Commercial Property team. With multiple offices across the region, this role offers the flexibility to be based in any of their Midland's locations.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Commercial Property department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services while driving growth and development within the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Commercial Property department across all offices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide expert legal advice and services to clients on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the department, enhance client relationships, and attract new business.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a Commercial Property team.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to grow the department.
