HR Advisor

We are working with a highly regarded global law firm in their search for an HR Advisor for their London office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing HR experience and offers scope for further development as a business partner to the London office, providing HR generalist support. Your responsibilities will include managing employee relations issues, providing operational HR support, and managing the annual business services appraisal process.
About the Role:
- Act as a business partner to the London office providing HR generalist support
- Manage employee relations issues within the office when they arise
- Provide operational HR support to the Senior HR Manager
- Manage the annual business services appraisal process and support the associate appraisal process
- Conduct new joiner and exit interviews across the office
- Manage the maternity/paternity, and probation processes
- Support the absence management process for the London office, reporting to the Senior HR Manager on a monthly basis and agreeing on action plans
- Manage the lateral recruitment process for associates and support staff
- Support with HR projects as required
- Support with the ongoing implementation of Workday
- Support the HR team with updating policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice
- Actively engage with the London DEI strategy and support with requests for external surveys or data
Requirements:
- An excellent working knowledge of HR practices, ideally gained within a legal or professional services environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, understanding the importance of confidentiality, and the relevant skills to handle sensitive data
- A flexible and hands-on attitude, responding effectively to rapidly changing circumstances, taking the initiative, anticipating needs, and exercising independent, sound judgment
