The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our tax team at Genius Sports, a fast-growing US listed Group with a broad range of tax matters. This role will report directly to the Head of Tax and require a high level of interaction with the wider finance team, commercial team, and advisors.
This role will assist in all tax matters affecting the Group, with a focus on ensuring a good standard of tax compliance and reporting. The successful candidate will work with the Head of Tax to manage the tax structure of the group, including:
- Working with and managing advisors to deliver global corporate tax compliance and tax accounting disclosures in our accounts
- Managing UK & US tax compliance and reporting
- Assisting in key decisions and implementation of global group tax planning and transfer pricing
- Advising the Group on ad hoc tax matters affecting the business on both a UK and international level
Requirements
- ACA or CTA qualified, at least 3 years PQE
- Experience of tax compliance and reporting (particularly in the UK and US)
- Experience of working with multinational groups - compliance, reporting, and the tax issues affecting them including transfer pricing implications and withholding tax issues
- Awareness of VAT & Employment Tax matters, including cross-border issues
- Team player with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to effectively drive results
- Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and presentation skills
