Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of generators within various environments across the South.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair generators in a variety of settings, including industrial and commercial environments.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with generators.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Diesel Fitting.
  • Experience working on large diesel generators.
  • Good engineering knowledge across the mechanical engineering discipline and some electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel.
