Job Title: Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Generator Technician

HSB Technical Ltd is a specialist recruiter within the Power & Propulsion, Shipbuilding, Shipping & Energy and Aerospace sectors. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Generator Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent, full-time position that involves performing preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS, control systems, and related equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting load bank testing, site surveys, and inspections, as well as assisting with the installation and commissioning of critical power equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS, control systems, and related equipment.
  • Conduct load bank testing, site surveys, and inspections of critical power systems.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of critical power equipment.
  • Install temporary or hire equipment on customer sites.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and repair, with experience working with generators, UPS, and control systems. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
