Support Worker (PMLD) Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker (PMLD) to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in Greenwich, South East London.

This exciting role will involve working with students who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), providing individualized support and care to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with PMLD in a 1:1 setting, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans, working closely with the teaching team and other professionals.
  • Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social health, hygiene, first aid, and welfare.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally PMLD.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
