About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Voltage Battery System Development Engineer to join our Engineering Research and Development department in Warwick, UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects globally for multiple customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and manage high-voltage battery systems, including product architecture design and validation.
  • Lead technical discussions to deliver robust fault-free designs using concurrent engineering disciplines.
  • Validate products meet specification requirements and project targets through documented Design Verification Plans (DVP).
  • Deliver System Design Specifications and Statements of Work for assigned projects within the HV Battery portfolio.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of high-voltage battery system regulations, validation planning, and system architecture.
  • Previous experience with HV battery, BMS features, and functions, power electronics, and electronic hardware design.
  • Strong organizational skills with a good track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Experience working with automotive development processes, OEM, or tier-one automotive systems.
  • Expertise in automotive toolchains, including diagnostic tools, Vector Tools, CANalyzer, and CANoe.
