Educational Psychologist Leadership Position

Peterborough City Council is seeking an exceptional Senior Educational Psychologist to lead our Educational Psychology Service (EPS) and contribute to the development of innovative practices within the Local Authority.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of the senior leadership team to develop and support service delivery, strategic planning, and Local Authority initiatives. This will involve providing supervision for Educational Psychologists, Psychology Assistant, Assistant Psychologist, and Trainee Educational Psychologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and delivering training and supervision to school and setting staff, applying up-to-date theory and research.
  • Supporting schools to deliver the graduated approach for children, young people, and young adults with Special Educational Needs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist.
  • Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
