We are seeking an exceptional Senior Educational Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the development of our service. This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with our senior leadership team to drive strategic planning, service delivery, and innovation.

Salary:

The salary for this position is £58,348 - £62,540, plus up to 3 SPA points (£66,425). From April 2025, the post will be paid at points 6 - 9, plus up to 3 SPA points (£61,848 - £65,120, plus up to 3 SPA points £69,010).

Job Description:

This Senior Educational Psychologist role involves working as part of the senior leadership team to develop and support service delivery, strategic planning, and LA initiatives. You will provide supervision for Educational Psychologists, Psychology Assistants, Assistant Psychologists, and Trainee Educational Psychologists.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering training and supervision to school and setting staff
  • Embracing our consultation service delivery model and contributing positively to high-quality service development
  • Supporting schools to deliver the graduated approach for children, young people, and young adults with Special Educational Needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist
  • Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC)
  • Sound knowledge about current practice in Educational Psychology and legislation concerning special educational needs
