At Term Time Teachers, we are currently seeking an ambitious Special Needs Teacher to join our team.
About the RoleWe promote a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where young people with Special Needs thrive. An emphasis is placed on preparing learners for their lives after school and assisting them in identifying and achieving their aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Tailor lessons and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of students with various disabilities or learning challenges.
- Regularly assess students' progress through observations, tests and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to support their development.
- Implement strategies to support students with behavioural challenges, ensuring they remain focused and engaged in learning.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Requirements- Knowledge and understanding of a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural difficulties.
- QTS
- The Right to Work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
- Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
