The Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our supply chain department, reporting into the Purchasing Manager. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering the following key responsibilities:
- Develop productive supplier relationships that benefit the business, including cost negotiation
- Ownership of a multi-million-pound global stock holding across multiple warehouse facilities
- Inter-departmental liaison with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Product Design, QA and Sales
- Demand forecasting and inventory planning using in-house commercial systems
- Day-to-day support of colleagues within the Purchasing department and wider commercial teams
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Purchasing Professional with a demonstrable background of achievement in Procurement practices. The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, have good knowledge of supply chain processes, and possess well-developed communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and be an effective team player. CIPS qualified or working towards is beneficial but not essential.
