The Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our supply chain department, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing strategic supplier relationships that drive business growth and cost savings.
- Managing a multi-million-pound global stock holding across multiple warehouse facilities, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders from R&D, Product Design, QA, and Sales to drive business objectives.
- Conducting demand forecasting and inventory planning using our in-house commercial system.
- Providing day-to-day support to colleagues within the Purchasing department and wider commercial teams.
Requirements
We are looking for a seasoned Purchasing Professional with a proven track record in procurement practices. You should possess:
- Commercial awareness and knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to business objectives.
- CIPS qualification or working towards is beneficial but not mandatory.
