Data Technician

We are seeking an experienced Data Technician to join our team at Edenbrook, a leading Lloyd's Syndicate. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of policy data, providing essential support to our underwriting teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of bureau messaging and Syndicate underwriting models, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
About the Role- Monitor and improve data quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Produce regular management information reports to facilitate accurate outstanding premium monitoring.
- Support finance and underwriting teams during the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Process and analyze bureau market messaging data to ensure accurate monitoring of outstanding premiums.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and resolving policy admin system queries related to credit control.
- Contributing to the reconciliation of premium settlements and written premium records for Consortia.
- Assisting with the production of regulatory returns, such as Lloyd's PMD.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Lloyd's Insurance Company (LIC) bureau queries and underwriting data validations.
Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
