About the Role:

Capita Pension Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pensions Data Technician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on delivering high-quality data analysis and administration services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Scheme Events Leads and Scheme Event Manager to develop and implement data-driven solutions for Scheme Events and Projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Pensions Data Technicians, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data analysis and administration services, adhering to Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements, including pensions and FCA regulations.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and Capita colleagues, communicating clearly and professionally to achieve shared goals.
• Regularly review and improve existing systems and controls to enhance service delivery, improve processes, and reduce potential complaints and business risks.
• Lead on the delivery of assigned projects and scheme events, promoting a first-class experience for customers and sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
• Perform data processes, including data extraction, transformation, and upload, as well as building and enhancing Excel templates and macros for regular jobs.
• Create audit trails of all work and communications, adhering to the team's best practices.
• Test bulk communications and calculations using the team's best practices.
• Provide project updates and time scales to Scheme Events Leads, Project Managers, and Scheme Event Manager.

Requirements:

• Experience in pensions schemes, including DB and/or DC pensions scheme experience.
• Technical pensions calculations/analysis skills.
• Bulk data analysis expertise.
• Familiarity with pension administration and work management systems.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and quality management skills.
• Excel skills, including the ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables, formulas, and data validation.
• Project Management skills.
• A-level Maths or Degree with a maths element or work experience involving complex data analysis.
• Desirable: PMI qualifications.
