In this rewarding role as a Child Placement Consultant, you will work closely with social workers, adoptive families, and other professionals to provide outstanding adoption support and contribute to positive outcomes for children and families. Based in Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Regional Adoption Agency, you will be responsible for completing adoption assessments, matching and linking children with adoptive families, and providing ongoing support to help them achieve their goals. With a strong focus on family support, you will work collaboratively with children and families to identify their needs and develop tailored plans to meet those needs. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team environment and make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

You will need a relevant social work qualification, registration with Social Work England, and experience of adoption work. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and practices. Regular supervision, training, and shared learning opportunities will be provided to support your professional development.
