Healthcare Support Specialist

Cobalt, a pioneering medical charity, is seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Specialist to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will work closely with radiographers, consultant radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Job DescriptionThe role involves providing reassurance to patients, carrying out patient safety screening checks, preparing patients for examinations, and accompanying them to and from scanner rooms. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, reporting any faults, assisting with procedures, and performing clerical tasks such as data input and image transfer.
In this dynamic environment, you will work variable days over a 7-day week, including weekends and bank holidays. The salary for this role is £25,500 per annum, plus benefits.
To be successful in this position, you will need to have a minimum of five GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English language, Maths, and a Science subject. Basic Life Support Certification is also required.
