Year 4 Teacher Opportunity
Wayman Education is working with a vibrant and fun primary school seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Year 4 teacher.
The school aspires to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment. We are seeking a primary teacher who knows how to drive attainment and create engaging lessons.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pastoral care to children taking their first steps in Key stage 2, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
- Teach the Key stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths and improving weaknesses.
- Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
- Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
- Track children's progress and report back to parents.
