We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our team in identifying and mitigating health and safety risks across the Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Health and Safety professionals to respond to emerging health and safety risks
  • Provide health and safety services to Tees Active, the company that operates the Borough's leisure centres, schools, and academies
  • Develop and implement solutions to reduce the potential for harm

Requirements:

  • Passion for Health and Safety
  • Knowledge and experience in managing Health and Safety risks
  • Ability to lead a team and shape the future of the Health and Safety Service

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of up to £47,420
  • 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years service
