Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our team and shape the future of our Health and Safety Service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Health and Safety professionals to identify and manage health and safety risks across the Council and provide health and safety services to Tees Active.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing recommendations for mitigation
  • Providing health and safety training and guidance to staff
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the Council's work

We offer a competitive salary of up to £47,420, 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years service, and a generous pension scheme through the LGPS.
