**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Construction Disputes Lawyer to join our London office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contentious construction law and experience with the most popular standard forms of construction contracts.
About the Role
The firm's highly regarded construction team has expertise in large-scale high-value construction, engineering infrastructure, and energy disputes. We are looking for an ambitious lawyer to join as Associate with experience in Contentious Construction law and expertise in payment issues, change, defects, termination, and professional negligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on construction disputes and negotiate settlements
- Represent clients in adjudication, arbitration, expert determination, litigation, and international arbitration
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement business strategies
- Analyze complex data and present findings to senior management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong academic background and excellent analytical skills
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, and engineering disputes
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development
