This temporary contract role will see you join our local management team, managing and leading the internal sales team at our regional distribution centre. Your primary objective will be to maximise sales activities and ensure the site exceeds all sales and profit targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the internal sales team, setting targets and objectives, and completing performance and development assessments.
- Oversee all sales administration processing, ensuring timely and efficient completion using relevant systems.
- Complete relevant reports to monitor sales input, invoicing, and margin, identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement.
- Develop existing accounts, seeking and capitalising on opportunities to up-sell across the product portfolio.
- Work in partnership with external sales executives, attending customer visits as necessary.
We welcome applications from experienced internal sales office professionals with a proven track record of managing small teams in fast-paced environments. You will bring genuine leadership skills, first-class customer service, and internal sales skills to the role. As this is an internal office-based position, we prefer candidates to reside within a reasonable daily commute of our local site.
