About the Role
MTrec Technical is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team in a leading North East manufacturing company. This exciting opportunity will involve working on both reactive and planned maintenance on various machinery associated with production.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and efficiency.
- Install new machinery and refurbish existing machines, while minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Analyze breakdown causes, recommend countermeasures, and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
Requirements:
- Must be time served and multi-skilled, with experience in PLC programming preferred.
- Able to work continental shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
- Familiarity with FMCG production processes is advantageous.
