Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Nurse to join our Countywide Community Respiratory Service on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive and holistic care to patients with respiratory disease, working in a variety of settings including clinics and patients' homes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients with respiratory disease.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and carers to facilitate the best possible patient experience and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and agencies to address complex care issues and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

Person Specification

We are looking for a nurse with a clear passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will have a degree in nursing or equivalent, registration with the NMC, and postgraduate studies in a relevant nursing field. You will also have experience in assessing and managing respiratory and long-term conditions, as well as supporting service users, families, and carers.
