Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Nurse to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, working on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As a Community Respiratory Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with respiratory disease, working in various settings, including clinics and patient homes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients with respiratory disease.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, promoting professional development and best practices.

Requirements

  • Registration with the NMC as a qualified nurse.
  • Post-graduate studies in a relevant nursing field, such as respiratory disease management or long-term conditions.
  • Relevant experience in assessing and managing respiratory and long-term conditions, including experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
