Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have significant post-qualification experience in respiratory disease and will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess new service user referrals and care/support needs, developing evidence-based programmes of care to improve quality of life and reduce hospital admissions.
  • Work collaboratively with patients and key partners to facilitate the best possible patient experience and outcomes.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the NMC.
  • V300 nurse prescribing or completion within the first 12 months of obtaining the position.
  • Mentorship qualification such as Practice Assessor or ENB 998/997.
  • Relevant specialist postgraduate (Masters) qualification and/or professionally recognised clinical course(s) in the specialist area.
