Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate crop analysis: Conduct analytical tests and visual assessments for cereals, pulses, and oilseeds with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Weighbridge operations management: Oversee public weighbridge activities, including vehicle booking, weighing, and sampling.
  • Data reporting and coordination: Record and report analytical data, liaising with traders or FBM for feedback and issue resolution.
  • Export facility support: Test intake samples at export sites and monitor the quality of vessel loads, coordinating with the Shipping Department when necessary.
  • Laboratory duties and maintenance: Maintain lab cleanliness and manage sample storage, adhering to relevant guidelines.

As a Laboratory and Ports Analyst, you will have:

  • Relevant experience in grain laboratories or weighbridge operations preferred.
  • A background in science or mathematics is advantageous.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and accuracy.
  • Strong focus and ability to maintain concentration during detailed tasks.
  • Proven time management skills and proficiency in data entry.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for personal and career growth.
