**Job Title:** Lead Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)

**Location:** South West London

**Job Type:** Full-time/Part-time

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Lead Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuro rehabilitation and excellent leadership skills.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the SLT team in providing patient care and ensuring compliance with professional standards
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives
  • Supervise junior staff members

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registration, intermediate dysphagia training, CPD in neurological disabilities
  • Senior-level experience with acquired brain injury and related swallowing/communication issues, community rehabilitation, multi-disciplinary teams, clinical audit/research, and supervising junior staff
  • Advanced assessment and treatment skills, clinical reasoning, communication (verbal and written), IT proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and supervision skills
