About the Role:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of our AWS cloud infrastructure, including business usage trends, utilizing tools such as AWS console, Datadog, and Cloudability.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost, energy consumption, and complexity, and develop recommendations to drive business value.
  • Produce regular reports on progress and success of initiatives, including identifying opportunities, risks, and blockers, and evidence of achieved benefits.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve usage of AWS infrastructure, saving time, money, and energy consumption, while ensuring that initiatives do not adversely impact internal business processes or customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and standards, including experience of working in a mature AWS cloud environment; AWS Cloud certification would be preferable.
  • Ability to summarize technical information appropriately for different audiences, including senior management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong IT background and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
