Teaching Assistant Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students in Year 2 at Neath Primary School. As a qualified Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to promote effective learning
  • Liaise with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Encourage every child to learn and achieve, demonstrating enthusiasm and skill
  • Plan and implement constructive play during the lunchtime period
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children
  • Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools
