As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of fire safety consultancy services, reviewing building designs, and developing fire solutions. You will work closely with clients, design teams, and statutory authorities to ensure compliance with recognized guidance.

About the Role

  1. You will be responsible for supporting the team with the delivery of fire safety consultancy services.
  2. You will review building designs and design elements to assess compliance with the recognized guidance while assisting with the development of fire solutions as part of the overall design team.
  3. You will have a client-facing role, which will include direct correspondence with clients, design teams, and statutory authorities under the supervision of senior engineers.
  4. You will develop your knowledge of fire engineering and Building Regulations to support projects in a variety of sectors.
  5. You will take ownership of your own personal development, ensuring continuous professional development (CPD) by learning new skills, knowledge, and experience to enhance your professional abilities and maintain an effective performance as a professional fire engineer.
  6. You will assist the sales and estimating team in the bidding process of future work and developing/strengthening networking channels.
  7. Good knowledge of relevant standards and fire safety legislation.
  8. The ability to perform routine tasks typically with significant supervision.
  9. Willingness to travel as and when required.
