Senior Residential Children's Worker

We are working in partnership with a provider of children's services to offer a permanent opportunity for a Senior Residential Children's Worker based in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity to join a supportive employer with genuine opportunities to progress. As a Senior Residential Children's Worker, you will be working as part of a team providing support to children with behavioural difficulties within a children's home.
Key Responsibilities- Attend staff meetings and supervisions to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Be accountable for any decision made regarding the welfare of the children and staff members during the shifts that you lead.
- Discuss with the Manager any concerns with staffing matters to ensure a smooth operation.
- Ensure that all staff members are kept up to date with changes to procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Provide support using a person-centred approach to meet the individual needs of the children.
- Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm to ensure their well-being.
