Senior Residential Support Worker Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice in care delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with management and other professionals to ensure the well-being and development of the children in your care.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for all residents, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure the smooth operation of the residential home, including staff supervision, training, and performance management.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYP) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a children's home, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a commitment to their well-being and development.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins, and be available for on-call duties as required.
