Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Headway Adolescent Resources. As a key member of our residential home, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support and care to young people in a residential setting
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote positive outcomes
  • Engage with young people in activities and therapies to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of young people's progress and care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people in a residential setting (desirable)
  • Qualification in Children and Young People (QCF level or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Full manual driving license
