We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

About the Role

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Encouraging independence and promoting the well-being of young people
  • Participating in weekend activities and trips to support the children's interests
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children
Requirements

To be successful as a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will need:

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting
  • A valid UK driving license
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
