We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to provide support and care to clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care to meet individual client needs.
  • Promote dignity, respect, and personal choice in all care tasks.
  • Ensure safeguarding is always a priority.
Job Details
  1. Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dental hygiene, and toileting.
  2. Carry out infection control by cleaning spaces such as bathrooms and kitchens.
  3. Help with light housework, such as vacuuming, laundry, and bed making, based on individual client needs.
  4. Assist clients with medical appointments and liaise with health professionals and families.
  5. Report changes in client health or home conditions, and respond to emergencies or safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
  • Full Driver's Licence (essential).
  • Own car (desirable).
  • Aged 18 years or above.
  • Satisfactory DBS or police clearance.
  • Relevant care or health certification.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience in the care environment is advantageous.
  • Mileage paid to car drivers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard clients.
  • Teamwork and understanding the needs of individuals requiring care.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety in home care.
  • Flexible with working hours and able to work under pressure.
Working Environment

This role involves working with clients in their own homes, the community, and occasionally working alone during both day and night shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
