Personal Care Support Worker

Job Title: Personal Care Support Worker
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Personal Care Support Worker to assist with the care of our 13-year-old son every other Saturday from 12 PM until 6 PM, with flexibility to work Sundays as well. The ideal candidate will be able to help with toilet training and nappy changing, assist with dressing or undressing, supervise at all times, encourage outdoor play, and facilitate access to local parks and community using his wheelchair for outings.
Salary: £12.40/hour (Alternate Saturdays or Sundays)
About the Role:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting and bathing
- Help with daily living tasks such as dressing and undressing
- Supervise and engage with our teenage boy during activities
- Facilitate outdoor play and exploration
- Provide support with meal preparation and domestic duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation preferred due to limited bus routes in the Lofthouse area
