We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering activities and deliver successful projects across our Sonobuoys portfolio.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that solutions meet requirements and are fit for purpose.

The Sonobuoys portfolio encompasses new product development, in-service support, and products already in production.

This role requires a strong background in Sonar or Acoustics, with extensive experience in work package management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement engineering plans, including dependencies, assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
  3. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects.
  5. Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and maintain a secure working environment.

This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to balance working from home and being on-site as necessary, with occasional UK travel.

Salary: £80K - £90K (+ relocation assistance)
