Our client, a leading global crane maintenance company, is seeking an experienced Hydraulics Project Engineer to join their international engineering team at their Bradford-based headquarters.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Hydraulics Project Engineer to provide project management support and engineering expertise for offshore crane systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing tenders, design, engineering, troubleshooting, repairs, refurbishment, upgrades, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management support for offshore crane projects.
  • Oversee tenders, offers, design, and engineering activities.
  • Provide technical support for offshore crane systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Manage engineering activities related to hydraulic equipment, spare parts sourcing, and refurbishment plans.
  • Conduct engineering design for offshore crane and hydraulic interface projects.
  • Prepare work packs and other project documentation.
  • Undertake offshore and onshore surveys and project work scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work without supervision and manage projects independently.
  • Good understanding of HSEQ requirements offshore.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.
Requirements:

• Degree qualified, preferably in hydraulic/mechanical engineering or equivalent.

• Ability to work in an office-based role in Bradford with 60-100 days per year of international travel.
