Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Equipment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and unplanned hydraulic and mechanical work on our clients' engineering hydraulic equipment, ensuring high levels of serviceability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planned Preventative Maintenance, Fault Diagnosis, and repairs of all hydraulic equipment on the account.
  2. Load testing and certification of jacks, ensuring safe operation, and initial inspection of new jacks on the contract.
  3. Ensure all work is conducted safely, and any contractors on site are supervised.
  4. Reacting to service requests from our clients, driving to and locating equipment for PPM or repair.
  5. Follow work requests from start to finish, tracking multiple jobs at the same time and keep line manager and client informed.
  6. Effectively communicating work order progress to our customer and the other members of your team, informing your line manager of any issues that arise.
  7. Be a great team player - working as part of a wider team of 17 employees on the contract, providing the highest levels of customer service.
  8. Careful completion of all work order administration.
