Carpet Sales Advisor Job Description

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a skilled Carpet Sales Advisor to join our client's team in Belfast. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct home visits to take precise measurements and provide expert advice on carpet selection.
  • Share product knowledge and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Prepare and present estimates to customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates.
  • Update customer details in our CRM system.
  • Ensure the store is well-presented and tidy at all times.
  • Support colleagues within the store to achieve sales targets.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong arithmetic skills and basic understanding of cutting and laying carpets.
  • Previous experience in the carpet or flooring industry.
  • Proven sales experience, particularly in a face-to-face environment.
  • Smart appearance and a professional demeanor.
