Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough electrical inspections and testing to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including commercial and industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to achieve common goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our services.
Requirements:
  • At least five years of experience working as an electrician or in a related field.
  • Two years of experience in a test and inspection role or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and C&G 2391 - Electrical inspection and testing qualifications.
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
