Quality Assurance Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform QA Final Release of aseptically compounded products, ensuring adherence to batch records, orders, prescriptions, and stability data.
  • Conduct physical checks of products to verify quality and identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate non-conformances, determine risks to product quality, and categorize incidents.
  • Participate in the QA on-call services on a rotational basis, ensuring prompt response to quality-related issues.
  • Support environmental monitoring programs, conduct QA documentation checks, and participate in the quality management system.
  • Foster a culture of quality and compliance within the organization.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience in aseptic production, QA, and practical microbiology. A Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or related field is preferred or experience or a Pharmacy Technician Qualification. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions related to product quality are also required. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary.
