Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Systems Officer to join our team at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare. As a Quality Systems Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) across all our sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as MHRA GMP, GDP, and ISO 9001.
Key Responsibilities- QMS Management: Ensure the Quality Management System is compliant and fit for purpose across all sites. Maintain document control, validate systems, and assist with product recalls when required.
- Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Oversee the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), monitor non-conformance reports, and drive improvements in risk management.
- Training & Development: Support the creation and delivery of GMP training, fostering a culture of continuous development and quality improvement.
- Audits & Compliance: Assist in internal and external audits, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work proactively with teams across the organisation to improve quality standards, resolve issues, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Educational Background: Degree-level education or equivalent, with a strong foundation in science (GCSE in Science essential).
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GMP, GDP, MHRA regulations, and ISO 9001 requirements. Experience in aseptic manufacturing is a plus.
- Audit & Compliance Experience: Proven track record in conducting internal audits and preparing for external regulatory inspections.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Ability to drive quality initiatives, manage risks, and implement CAPAs effectively.
- Training Skills: Experience in developing and delivering training programmes related to quality systems and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
